Researcher in Coastal Zone Environment and Management

A position as Researcher in Coastal Zone Environment and Management is available at Stockholm University Baltic Sea Centre.
Baltic Eye is a new part of the Baltic Sea Centre. Through close collaboration between research and communication Baltic Eye should enhance knowledge about the Baltic Sea and help improve environmental measures decided by policy makers. Baltic Eye consist of seven researchers, two technicians and four communicators and two advocacy/analysis officers.

The whole team works in close collaboration to develop and convey knowledge that contributes to a healthier Baltic Sea. Baltic Eyes' main focus areas are society’s measures connected to environmntal issues such as eutrophication, overfishing and pollution, as well as matters increasing sustainable fishing management and increased biodiversity. The target audience is policy- and decision makers working with Baltic Sea issues. The position is part of a scientific segment in a team together with communicators, which will provide scientific knowledge to decision makers.

A PhD within the field of employment is required.
